Coolio Music Video — Launching Soon Across All Official Channels
We’re entering the final stage of production on the official Coolio music video, a flagship piece of our collaboration with his estate and management team. This isn’t just a nod to his legacy, it’s a bold reintroduction, built with next-gen tools and deep respect for his impact.
The video will be released across all of Coolio’s verified platforms, including:
- YouTube (700,000+ subscribers)
- Facebook (1.5M+ followers)
- Instagram (200,000+ followers)
- And featured within NetVRk’s metaverse
Coolio’s team is fully behind the launch, describing it as a powerful way to bring his energy, attitude, and voice to a new generation, through a medium he never had the chance to step into during his lifetime.
This moment also aligns with a broader cultural trend:
- In May 2025, Ice Cube & Xzibit dropped the “For The Love” video, reuniting two West Coast icons in a modern visual story that captured cross-generational hype.
- A few weeks prior, XXXTentacion & Juice WRLD’s posthumous music video triggered a massive wave of engagement, especially among Gen Z, and featured in live events inside Fortnite and other digital platforms.
- And in late 2023, The Beatles released “Now and Then,” their final song and video, viewed tens of millions of times, showcasing how timeless artists can thrive through innovative formats.
Coolio stands right alongside them. His music video is more than content, it’s an evolution of his voice into the digital future.

Development Update
In June, our founder Mike shared an update directly with the community on Discord and Telegram regarding the Creation Engine. As many of you know, it’s the most anticipated feature from NetVRk, and we’ve continued to put considerable effort into its development. While we had hoped to release it in Q2, the complexity of the system, combined with an internal shift toward long-term efficiency and stability, meant progress didn’t move as quickly as planned.
Rather than rushing an unstable release, we’ve been focused on strengthening the foundation of the team and the company. The good news? We’re now entering a new phase where we can fully shift our resources back to production. The Creation Engine remains our top development priority, and we’re confident that what’s coming will not only meet expectations, but exceed them in both usability and innovation.
We appreciate your patience, and we’re more committed than ever to delivering a powerful tool that lives up to the vision.
Blockchain Update
Upcoming DAO Proposal
As mentioned in the previous devlog, we are currently preparing a new DAO proposal that would allow us to migrate NetVRk NFTs to an upgraded smart contract. This migration would bring several key benefits, most importantly, the ability to enforce royalties, which the current contracts do not support. Enforced royalties would help sustain the ecosystem and directly increase staking rewards for NFT holders over time.
This first proposal is not about choosing a specific technical solution. Instead, it’s meant to gauge whether the community supports the idea of migrating to a new contract. If the proposal passes, a follow-up DAO vote will determine the exact direction, whether that means a new Ethereum contract, an L2, or a different chain.
To start, the proposal will focus only on NetVRk Land NFTs. If the migration is successful and well-received, we plan to follow up with separate proposals for OG Avatars, Vehicles, and Bonus Packs.

NFT Staking Rewards & Q3 Questionnaire
Q2 NFT staking rewards will be distributed within a week. Thank you to everyone who participated and continues to support the ecosystem.
The Q3 Questionnaire will also go live within that same timeframe. If you want to stay eligible for the next round of staking rewards, be sure to complete it. We strongly recommend doing it sooner rather than later to avoid any last-minute issues.
